I was quite young during my first visit to Disneyland.  It was back when they had the Electrical Parade.  Either I was too young and don’t remember the parade, or I was sound asleep before it even started.

So when I saw the SpectroMagic night parade at the Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, it brought back the feeling of being young and the amazement of all the pretty lights.

Remembering AYCJ: Day 18

The eighteenth day of the AYCJ journey last year was spent in Washington D.C., Annapolis, Maryland and Dover, Delaware.

On a tour at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the second US Mint I visited during the month, I got to see how paper currency is made. As with the mint in Denver, I really enjoyed seeing the process and was impressed with the scale of the operation.

There’s something that’s just so magical about Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Is it Main Street, all the lovable characters we’ve grown up with, or the cheery music that makes you want to get up and dance? Whatever it is, there’s always someone with a smile.
