Remembering AYCJ: Day 17

The seventeenth day of the AYCJ journey last year was spent in Washington D.C. While I didn’t see much, I learned a couple of things about travelling. Hotels offer special rates, sometimes called distressed passenger rates, to passengers who are delayed or stranded while travelling. The rate offered by the hotel I stayed at was the least expensive I could find.

The second thing I learned was that even if plans are thrown out the door, you can always look forward to a nice sunset.
