The John F. Kennedy Presidental Library and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts has a number of items from the oval office and the presidency. John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, was born in Brookline, Massachusetts on May 29, 1917. He was the youngest man ever elected to serve as President, and laid the groundwork for advances in civil rights, education, and health care.
The Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, in Montpelier, Vermont produces and sells maple syrup. Visitors are invited to walk around the farm and up a short five minute trail into the forest of maple trees.
Hartford, Connecticut has a number of statues, monuments, and art around the city. My favorite was the fountain and pond at Bushnell Park.

On November 20, 1620, the Pilgrims dropped the Mayflower’s anchor in Provincetown. They drafted and signed a pioneering document of democratic government called the “Mayflower Compact.”

Battery Park in Burlington, Vermont was a beautiful place to walk around and watch the sun set. In June 1813, Lieutenant Churchill and men built a parapet and set up a battery. On August 3, a British gunboat and 2 sloops began a cannonade 1.5 miles offshore, which American forces quickly ended.
