Today’s mentor couldn’t come in so we had another day to focus on building our products and making connections.

What’s a weekend without a hackathon. I went up to San Francisco to the Glazed Hackathon held at Pivotal Labs on Howard St.

The Fog Fest festival in Pacifica is this weekend. Usually too busy to attend, today I managed to find a parking spot blocks away and braved the crowds. The weather was not foggy at all, but rather sunny and cool.

Sebastian Cabrera stopped by today to talk with us. Sebastian is from Bogotá, Colombia and is driven by the dream of creating a lasting positive impact in the Hispanic community. He is an active volunteer for the Hispanic Foundation of the Silicon Valley, the Economic Empowerment Fund and a mentor for the Peninsula college fund. In 2012, he started Optimumtempus.co, a company which features frames by independent designers and fits them to order with prescription lenses.

Today the teams from the Manos Accelerator went to the LISTA conference held at nestGSV in Redwood City.

Bagels, croissants, and fruit started this morning off at Manos.

As I walked from Caltrain to the Innovation Center, I looked up at the sky and the clouds reflecting the morning sunlight in front of a blue sky.

After an eventful weekend, it was back down to San Jose to continue making connections and refining our goals. Lunch was brought in.

It was a beautiful morning at the America’s Cup Park in San Francisco compared to yesterday. As I held my spot at the fence next to the bay, I took the time to hack on one of my projects.
