I am in Park City, Utah to attend the DisruptFilm Innovation Summit hosted by the Collective at the Lodges at Deer Valley Resort. The first session of the summit this morning was a VC panel.

I was in Las Vegas for the AT&T Dev Summit and Hackathon this past weekend. It was actually the first time I’ve traveled away from home to a hackathon. That says quite a bit about the excitement of the hackathon.

Is it already the end of 2013? As everyone always says, “boy, this year went by quickly.” And another saying, “time flies when you’re having fun.” This year was full of space and NASA activities.

In January, I had a opportunity to visit Space Shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center. She was elevated off the ground in her temporary new home.

This morning’s session at Manos gave our teams a quick overview of assets that our companies can have that add value.

Carlos Rosario talked about patents and the value they add to a company’s worth.

Back in San Francisco this morning at PARISOMA, I continued hacking on my project for this weekend. They had an assortment of breakfast food and more orange juice than one could drink in a month.

I went up to the HP Anywhere hackathon today in San Francisco. This hackathon was a bit different from the others I’ve been to.

Sure, there have been food trucks at other hackathons. Curry Up Now served burritos for lunch. That wasn’t what was different.

Today was a quiet workday. Except for the SAP center, where workers finished installing the huge sign.

Tonight we went to BlackBox’s mansion in Atherton.

This afternoon we were invited over to Google to play with Google Glass.
