Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center is home to the orbiter processing facility, the vehicle assembly building, the massive crawlers that transported the Space Shuttle and external tank to the two launchpads, LC-39A and LC-39B, and was at the heart of the Space Shuttle program.

Back in 2008, I had a chance to visit and take the bus tour to the LC 29 Observation Gantry, Apollo/Saturn V Center, and the International Space Station Center. Here is a brief overview of the stops.
