On the last day of this incredible experience made possible by the All You Can Jet pass offered by JetBlue, I got up early to see how much I could see and fit in.
My first stop was the Buckingham Fountainonly a few blocks from the hostel I stayed the night before.
Today was another one of those days that just didn’t come together like I had planned. Due to the weather at JFK, a flight that was diverted to Newark and finally to JFK four hours late, I lost focus on where I was headed.
After sleeping on the floor of gate 16 at JFK, I started my day by heading into the city to Rutgers Presbyterian Church where my uncle was an elder.
After an unexpected weather cancellation on JetBlue flight 607, I faced being stranded in Portland until the next day.
The first stop on this foggy morning was the Seashore Trolley Museum. It was closed but I got to see a few trolley cars in the yard.
For the last city on JetBlue’s All You Can Jet pass this month, I landed in Chicago in the afternoon. Having little sense of direction and knowledge of what was around, I asked what the cheapest method to get downtown was. The subway was surprisingly simple and cheap, at $2.25.
