A serial entrepreneur

Today Jose Florido came in to talk to us. He is a UX designer and entrepreneur from Spain. He started his first company, a web design studio, in 2002, worked with a Cuban friend on Loquo.com, a craigslist clone for Spain in 2004 and sold in 2005, and started Panoramio.com, which was sold to Google in 2007.

Since 2007 he has been a Senior UX Designer for Google in several projects: Panoramio, Google Maps, Google Groups and lately Niantic Labs (creators of Ingress and Fieldtrip).

The rest of the day was spent working on projects and following up with connections.
