Remembering AYCJ: Day 11
The eleventh day of the AYCJ journey last year was spent in Vermont.
After a visit to the Vermont State House, the sixth state capitol of the trip, I headed over to the Rock of Ages quarry. Although the workers had left early for the day after a company picnic, it was pretty neat to see the deep walls of granite. It is one of my favorite places because of all of the different things to see.
I went to the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks and learned about the process of making maple sugar and ended the day at Battery Park with a beautiful sunset.
