Remembering AYCJ: Day 1

On the first day of my journey, I flew to Long Beach. Before JetBlue, I had never heard of this city. Transportation was cheap, easy to use once I found it, and a bit slow.

The Long Beach Navy Memorial was a reminder that freedom has always been a challenge, no matter which coast you may live on.

After the quick afternoon visit, I boarded my second flight, headed to Portland, Oregon.
