Chicago lights
One of the things I really enjoyed about Chicago was how it looked at night. With the river passing through between towering buildings and bridges crossing over it, taking a walk around at night was a very relaxing activity. The reflections from the lights of the buildings on the water is quite fascinating.
I guess it wasn’t just the nighttime I liked, but also just before the sun set and darkness fell. I got to see Chicago start to light upfrom high up in the John Hancock building as the sun set. As the street lights lit up, the lights connected together to form lines towards the horizon.
There was a very impressive red and orange glow to the horizon. I’ve seen some pretty sunsets, but being in a new place I’ve never been to makes this one more unique.
