Flight #8: JFK - BOS
I have to say I was suprised by how fast we got to Boston on JetBlue flight #1016 Saturday night. Half my soda was wasted and I never opened the bag of chips by the time we prepared the cabin for landing. It felt like I had gone through a time warp.
Captain Dudley and James make quick time on Cool Blue while Andrea and Christina got the drinks and food out very fast. They must have had practice before.
My television failed shortly after takeoff so I didn’t get to watch much of anything. But that didn’t matter as 45 minutes was too short to watch anything from start to finish. Watching the History Channel with documentaries about 9/11 was a little too much after a day at Ground Zero.
A funny note. When I checked in at Richmond in the morning, the ticket agent saw the long layover at JFK before I headed to Boston. He thought it was strange, and was about to put me on an earlier flight, when I mentioned I did that intentionally (read the New York City post). JetBlue does try hard to make the experience great, watching all the details closely.
